Parapelvic cyst incision for Lower pole stones?

  • 2017년 10월 12일

70 year-old man with a LT kidney lower pole (17x17x10mm), HU 900

CT scan:

Renal function (DTPA): separate renal functioni (RT: LT = 55: 45%), GFR (RT: LT = 36.0: 29.0)

You can check the acute IPA (infundibulopelvic angle because of the presence of a parapelvic cyst. What would you do for this? What about the incision of the parapelvic cyst?

I performed parapelvic cyst incision and the cyst was collapsed. You can see the change of IPA.

Postoperative KUB showed that there is no remnant stone. I don't usually incise the parapelvic cyst but... do you think it is right in this situation?
